I've been offered a real job

My goal was to publish a book or to become an assistant professor of English by the time I was 40. The former is a work in progress. As for the latter,  I've just been offered a position at UNM-Valencia as assistant professor of English. After a couple decades of slogging through universities and low-paying odd jobs, this is an incredible relief.
