2016 thus far: Novel-in-progress & 290 song mega-album

This year has been crazy. Like busy. Teaching three classes at UNM-Valencia, eating quinoa, bribing roadrunners, enduring 75 degree winter weather.

And then there are the projects.

The first one, a carry-over from last year, is this novel-in-progress. It is set in Tucson, naturally, and Mexico, though Nicaragua is trying to bore its way in. Damn thing's going slow. Too slow. But I can't let the bad thoughts get to me. What I gotta do is keep writing. Difficult with all this quinoa to eat. . .

I'm also writing & recording 290 songs for a mega-album non-cleverly (and tentatively) titled "270 + 20." This averages out to three song every four days, which is fucking crazy.  The 11 volume, 7-hour record will be released on bandcamp in Feb 2017. For all four of you who intend to buy it, a preemptive tip of the hat.
